Ixion lodge celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE day

Ixion Lodge proudly marked VE Day with a memorable luncheon at Harlow Masonic Hall. Members, friends, and family gathered in the afternoon to honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who secured peace in Europe, reflecting on the historic victory that shaped the future. £300 was raised via a donated raffle and will got to the Lodge Charity fund.

The luncheon was filled with camaraderie and celebration. The attendees paid homage to the resilience of those who served, creating an atmosphere of reflection and unity. Over a delightful meal of soup, roast beef and apple strudel, gratitude was expressed for the freedoms won by generations before us.

It was a truly special occasion, bringing people together to celebrate history while strengthening bonds for the future.
